Tony Urwin

Tony Urwin holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. He developed and implemented a national franchise network for Clarks Shoes and managed the roll out of the Disney retail operation in the Middle East. Since establishing FDS Northern in 1999, he has helped many of the North's own businesses to realise their franchising ambitions, and to become the strong brands they are today.

Tony has three decades of franchising experience, a third of which has been gained in the North West as the Manchester-based owner of FDS-Northern. An Affiliate of the British Franchise Association, Tony regularly speaks on franchising issues at regional events, and writes a regular column in The Franchise Magazine.
